TConstruct Mod (Tinkers’ Construct Mod) is an extremely great and useful mod that focuses on giving players a host of new items, tools and features to Minecraft game. Thanks to this mod, you not only enlarge your different resources, but also have ability to construct, repair and even modify tools and weapons in Minecraft.
In order to start the mod, you will need a handbook named “Material” which will show you informative knowledge about the mod and how to craft new materials as well. The book is actually full of recipres and guides to make the mod clearer. And it’s nice to know that all your crafted items will never disappear and can be named and changed to your heart’s desire.
Apparently, TConstruct uses very few IDs, one item ID is for a tool and other ID is surely for craft component. Blocks are compressed as far as makes sense. Therefore, if you are looking for more crafting options, this mod is actually perfect for you.

Mechworks is an addon for Tinkers’ Construct with some interesting mechanical tidbits.
Drawbridges: Place and retract any kind of block, including ones not normally moveable with pistons. They also hold their own inventory as items, meaning you can place drawbridges with drawbridges!
Signaling buses and Terminals: A “wireless”, 16 color redstone network designed to make compact redstone circuitry. Run it up walls, through your ceiling, and let the drawbridge scream!
Filters: Sorting blocks that lets you differentiate items and mobs from each other.
