Real First-Person Render Mod for Minecraft 1.10.2

Real First-Person Render Mod 1.12 comes as a request by one of my flight simulator mod modelers. It’s a small client-side mod that renders the player’s body when in first-person. Although it may seem similar to the Improved First Person mod, RFPR is coded quite differently. It doesn’t require a coremod, and only uses one class file. This makes updating a snap, and allows it to easily be tweaked to work with any version. It also means that there are some inconsistencies; that’s the price you pay for simplicity.

It’s not 100% accurate and never will be, but it should give just a dash of realism for those who want it.

How to install:

  • Download and install Minecraft Forge.
  • Download the Real First-Person Render Mod from link below.
  • Go to .minecraft/mods folder. If the “mods” folder does not exist you can create one.
    • Windows – Open the Start menu and select Run, or press the Windows key + R. Type (without quotes) “%appdata%\.minecraft\mods” and press Enter.
    • OS X – Open the Go menu in Finder and select “Go to Folder”. Type (without quotes) “~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods” and press Return.
  • Copy the downloaded jar (zip) file into the “mods” folder that opens.
  • Enjoy the mod.
