The Thousand Year Door Map is an intriguing adventure map that includes highly intense gameplay and a great story.

This story takes places in a small town named Rougeport and you will have to find an ancient treasure map in this town. However in order accomplish this task, you follow the map and collect four jewels in four different worlds in each door.

Each world has a jewel and a dangerous boss to guard one of the jewels. Once you try your best to defeat those bosses, you’ll finally be able to open the Door and face the final boss of the map to defeat him and achieve the treasure trapped inside with him. And if you want to have conversation with mobs, you need to walk within 1 block of where they’re standing.

How to Install:

  • Download the The Thousand Year Door Map from link below.
  • Extract the map files with a Zip extractor.
  • Go to .minecraft/saves folder. If the “saves” folder does not exist you can create one.
    • Windows – Open the Start menu and select Run, or press the Windows key + R. Type (without quotes) “%appdata%.minecraftsaves” and press Enter.
    • OS X – Open the Go menu in Finder and select “Go to Folder”. Type (without quotes) “~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves” and press Return.
  • Copy the extracted map folder into the “saves” folder that opens.
  • Start minecraft. Enjoy and play.
