Pokecube Server Utilities Mod will provide various server-side utilities for Pokécube. It will not be needed on clients, and will be open for anyone to suggest additional utilities for. It currently comes with the following sub-utilities:

  • Capture restriction: allows servers to restrict levels that specific wild pokemobs can be captured at.
  • Dimension Restriction: allows blacklisting/whitelisting dimensions that pokemobs can be send out in.

Config Command

the /pokeutilssettings command can be used to edit any of the settings added by this mod, it offers tab completion to list off available settings.

Capture Restriction

under the config section captureRestriction, there are 3 options:

  • maxCaptureLevelNormal
  • maxCaptureLevelLegendary
  • maxCaptureLevelOverrides

maxCaptureLevelNormal is the maximum level that players can capture non-legendary pokemobs, anything higher than this, and the cube will bounce off. maxCaptureLevelLegendary is the same, but for legendary pokemobs.

maxCaptureLevelOverrides is a custom list of pokemobs for specific capture level requirements, the format is :

Dimension Control

under the config section dimensionControl there are 4 options:

  • blacklist
  • dimensions
  • enabled
  • whitelist

if enabled is false, and whitelist and blacklist are false, this section does nothing.

dimensions is the list of dimension ids to apply these rules to.

if whitelist is true, then pokemobs will only be allowed to be sent out of their pokecubes in the dimension ids added to the dimensions array, whitelist being true override blacklist. if blacklist is true, then pokemobs will not be allowed to be sent out of their cubes in the dimensions listed.
