What is Panorama Kit?

With this mod, you can quickly create accurate backgrounds for the main menu. If you want it to, it adds them to your texturepack directly. The mod also allow you to make panorama images of various types. With the help of Photoshop or GIMP, you can even make your world look like a planet! If you are interested in animation, you have the ability to make timelapses of anything that you can make an image of.

How to install:

  • Download and install Minecraft Forge.
  • Download the PanoramaKit Mod from link below.
  • Go to .minecraft/mods folder. If the "mods" folder does not exist you can create one.
    • Windows – Open the Start menu and select Run, or press the Windows key + R. Type (without quotes) "%appdata%\.minecraft\mods" and press Enter.
    • OS X – Open the Go menu in Finder and select “Go to Folder”. Type (without quotes) "~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods" and press Return.
  • Copy the downloaded jar (zip) file into the "mods" folder that opens.
  • Enjoy the mod.



  • Fixed coremod not using the correct classmapping, causing rendering issues in its absence. (visible edges in the final image)
  • Java 6 support has been added
  • Figured out how to bundle the two mods in a single jar
