Dummy Core is an API used by Dummy Thinking team to make mods. It provides various functions for us to mod in an easy way. These function include

  • Easier mod/cfg registration
  • Automatic creation of creative tabs
  • Packet system
  • A new way to work with data(save it to string and parse later)
  • World/player save handlers(allows to save your data)
  • Lots of usefull functions in MiscUtils
  • Attributes system
  • Custom main menu support
  • ASM feature to remove interfaces of your .class files

How to install:

  • Download and install Minecraft Forge.
  • Download the DummyCore from link below.
  • Go to .minecraft/mods folder. If the “mods” folder does not exist you can create one.
    • Windows – Open the Start menu and select Run, or press the Windows key + R. Type (without quotes) “%appdata%\.minecraft\mods” and press Enter.
    • OS X – Open the Go menu in Finder and select “Go to Folder”. Type (without quotes) “~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods” and press Return.
  • Copy the downloaded jar (zip) file into the “mods” folder that opens.
  • Enjoy the mod.
